• At the first appointment a general foot health assessment is undertaken which includes a medical history and recording of any medications currently being taken. Your feet are assessed and foot pulses taken.
• A treatment plan will be agreed and treatment given depending upon your needs and may include nails cut, cleared and filed, gentle reduction of thickened or fungal nails using specialist equipment, attention to ingrowing nails, painless removal of any corns or hard skin with skin sanded smooth, and if you wish the feet are gently massaged using an emollient cream.
• Footwear and foot care advice will be discussed.
• Medical report (if required) for your GP or other care professional.
• At any subsequent follow-up visits, before treatment begins there will be a brief medical review to identify any new problems or changes to medication.

• A thorough examination to include a dermatological and musculoskeletal assessment, a neurological check of protective sensation to touch and vibration, circulatory assessment to include palpation of foot pulses and Doppler check to listen to blood flow, inspection of footwear, classification of foot risk and doctors report if requested.
• Advice offered as required regarding footcare and footwear to minimise risk of developing diabetic foot ulcers. This assessment is also beneficial to people with rheumatiod athritis due to their increased risk of ‘hardening of the arteries’ and neuropathy (loss of protective foot sensation).

This is a cosmetic toe nail correction using a specially formulated elastic U.V. gel used to reconstruct, reshape and improve the appearance of fungal, thickened and damaged nails.

The gel system is specifically designed for toenails and can only be offered by foot care specialists trained in its use.

One toenail reconstruction costs £30, two nails £40, any additional nail will be £5 per nail, full set £60.

Your new nails can be left with a natural look, can be finished off with white tips or can be painted over with nail varnish. The reconstructed nails should stay in place for about 4-6 weeks.
